We used Revit and measurements and drawings from our room to create a new 2d residential ranch house room design based on the original room. In revit we started with the basics like doors, windows, and extra components like tvs, couches, desks, etc. With these extras we were able to "redo" our rooms. We rendered once in revit and several times in 3d Studio Max. To get our revit into 3d studio max we exported it as an *.fbx file. In 3d Studio Max we played with texture, lighting, and animation with the end goal of creating a realistic room walkthrough.
